This site presents Trumble’s Ontology of Truth & Liberation, formally known as TIFEO — Trumble Infinite Friction-Emergence Ontology, a causally grounded account of reality, experience, and liberation.

It is grounded in the 12 Layers of Emergence Model, officially called the Trumble Infinite Friction–Emergence (TIFE) Model, which describes how spontaneous frictions give rise to emergent order, consciousness, and identity continuity, and how clarity arises when these patterns are seen without distortion.

The Ontology

TIFEO emerged from direct observation, sustained reflection, and systematic synthesis. It is not derived from existing traditions, though certain insights may resemble ideas found across science, philosophy, and contemplative traditions worldwide.

Where such resemblances appear, they are noted as convergent observations — not as sources of authority. The ontology is original in structure and formulation, internally coherent, and stands on its own causal logic without reliance on inherited doctrine, belief, or assumption.

Core Principles

TIFEO is built around twelve interlocking principles:

1. The Infinite Field: Reality is an unbounded field within which all patterned reality arises, prior to time, space, and all differentiation
2. Spontaneous Friction: Natural contrasts and tensions within the field generate movement and the first conditions for pattern formation
3. Emergent Order: Structure arises naturally and without external control from interacting frictions
4. Natural Causality: Cause and effect unfold as the inherent behavior of interacting emergent systems, not as imposed law
5. Universe Formation: Large scale structures — matter, stars, galaxies, planetary systems, and large-scale environments — emerge from layered emergent organization
6. Consciousness Emergence: Awareness arises naturally from sufficient complexity, not as something added or injected
7. Identity Continuity: Identity is constructed continuity, rebuilt moment to moment from conditions, memory, and causal momentum
8. Interpretive Evolution: Meaning systems evolve through experience, culture, and adaptation, and can either clarify or distort perception
9. The Return Drive: Patterned systems tend to move toward configurations that reduce unnecessary conflict and instability, allowing greater coherence and resolution to persist.
10. Realization: Perception aligns with underlying structure directly, reducing projection and dissolving distortion
11. Causal Closure: When a pattern becomes fully clarified, its causal momentum ceases completely, leaving no residual transfer, unresolved tension, or lingering influence.
12. Infinite Continuity: Arising, stabilizing, dissolving, and returning occur endlessly across scales beyond linear time, while the field itself remains unchanged.

What This Ontology Is Not

TIFEO is not a belief system, a religion, a self-improvement program, or a promise of transcendence. There are no souls, no higher states to maintain, and no metaphysical after-conditions.

Nothing mystical is added. Nothing is taken on faith. Nothing requires reinterpretation as understanding deepens.
