About This Ontology

This site presents Trumble’s Ontology of Truth & Liberation, formally known as TIFEO — Trumble Infinite Friction–Emergence Ontology.

It is a causally grounded account of reality, experience, and the resolution of conditioning.

It is structured through the 12 Layers of Emergence Model, formally the Trumble Infinite Friction–Emergence (TIFE) Model, which describes how spontaneous friction gives rise to patterned reality, how causal processes develop and persist, how consciousness and identity form, and how these processes may reduce or fully resolve when seen without distortion.

The Ontology

TIFEO emerged through direct observation, sustained analysis, and systematic synthesis.

It is not derived from existing traditions. Where similarities appear across science, philosophy, or contemplative systems, they are treated as convergent observations, not sources.

The ontology is:

  • structurally original
  • internally coherent
  • grounded in causal continuity
  • independent of belief, doctrine, or inherited assumptions

It stands entirely on its own explanatory structure.

Core Principles

TIFEO is expressed through twelve interdependent layers:

  1. Infinite Field: An unbounded field with ongoing potential for spontaneous friction.
  2. Spontaneous Friction: Intrinsic tensions within the field generate interaction and the conditions for pattern formation.
  3. Emergent Order: Stable patterns arise from interacting frictions without external control.
  4. Natural Causality: Pattern interactions establish causal flow, which develops into condition-based causal flow, producing residual conditioning that persists as causal momentum. As these structured interactions continue, they also give rise to distributed informational traces as pattern-distributed correlations within ongoing field activity.
  5. Universe Formation: These causal processes scale into complex structured systems. Within sufficiently complex systems, interactions may extend through distributed informational traces, allowing conditional access beyond local structure. Under specific conditions, this enables non-local causal sensitivity.
  6. Consciousness Emergence: Sufficiently complex systems develop awareness, perception, and internal representation.
  7. Identity Continuity; Identity forms as an ongoing reconstruction structured through memory, perception, and conditioning.
  8. Interpretive Evolution: Interpretive structures develop; within conscious systems, causal momentum operates as Trace Cause—the persistence of conditioning expressed through memory, perception, and interpretation.
  9. Return Drive; Trace Cause expresses as a tendency to reduce internal tension toward resolution when conditions allow.
  10. Realization: Increased clarity reduces interpretive distortion, weakening Trace Cause and causal momentum.
  11. Causal Closure: As Trace Cause reduces or resolves, causal transfer weakens or ends, leading to partial or full closure of conditioning processes.
  12. Infinite Continuity: Patterns arise, stabilize, become conditioned, and either continue through transfer of residual conditioning through causal momentum or fully cease, while the field remains unchanged.

What This Ontology Is Not

TIFEO is:

  • not a belief system
  • not a religion
  • not a self-improvement program
  • not a promise of transcendence or permanence

There are no fixed identities, no enduring entities, and no assumed continuation beyond causal processes.

Nothing mystical is introduced.

Nothing is taken on faith.

Nothing requires reinterpretation as understanding deepens.

Engaging the Ontology

TIFEO is not purely conceptual. It is intended to be directly examined and observed.

Engagement includes:
The Blog — 365 sequential explorations, each building causally on prior entries, unfolding the full framework across stabilization, differentiation, resolution, and closure
The 12 Layers Diagram — a structural overview of the complete model
Direct observation — applying the framework to immediate experience rather than treating it as doctrine

The ontology is evaluated through direct observation of the processes it describes.

Engagement occurs through direct examination.

Responses and reflections may be made within the comment sections of each daily entry.
